There has always been a major debate going on about which is better...brand name or generic drugs. The generic name of a drug is usually the active ingredient. The brand name is what the pubic calls the drug. Sometimes the generic is less expensive than the brand name and therefore easier to aquire. Generic drugs are just as affective as the brand name drugs because in order to be called the brand names equivalent, the generic must achieve the same results as the original.
