Thinking of adding the Welch Allyn Connex Spot Monitor to your Lab? It’s an easy to use, accurate measurement tool that uses cutting edge technology to provide you with quick, correct diagnoses.

What it Does

The Welch Allyn Connex Spot Monitor has a user-friendly touchscreen with a bright display. It will accurately measure patients’ vital signs; giving you precise readings of blood pressure averages, spot checks, interval monitoring and custom scores across the patient populations you choose.

Connex’s Spot Monitor connects wirelessly with your EMR to send patients’ vitals right to their charts from the point of care. This helps improve your Lab’s efficiency, saving you both time and money.

The design of the Connex Spot Monitor is customizable. You can choose to include a wall unit integration, thermometry and pulse oximetry, as well as different connectivity options.

If you choose to add the Accessory Power Management Stand, you’ll find it has WhisperDrive technology with power backup. With the power backup, you can leave the monitor on for 17 hours, so there’s no need for frequent charging.

It comes standard with one adult cuff and one large adult cuff.

Features and Benefits

The Connex Spot Monitor offers your Lab SureBP technology which provides you with an accurate blood pressure reading in just 15 seconds. It also has a scoring calculator, a blood pressure averaging function, and SureTemp or ThermoScan to provide you with exact temperature readings.

With blood pressure averaging, you can be assured of accurate hypertension diagnoses. With multiple blood pressure readings, the Connex provides you with a more precise measurement that actually takes into account a number of anomalies.

With Connex, you’re offered a choice of leading SpO2 technologies, as well as the ability to scale connectivity to Detecto, Health o meter or SECA scales.

The Connex helps support workflows, increases staff efficiency, reduces errors in documentation, and helps you form a complete patient exam workflow. No longer will your staff have to type into patient records, the technology transfers vital signs wirelessly, directly into patient charts. The wireless transfer provides you with immediate access to patients’ vitals, providing you with the information you need to make decisions, reducing transcription errors and reducing the time spent manually entering information.

Wireless technology also helps provide you with a cleaner workspace; no more wires or cables. Plus, the mobile stand has a handy work surface, providing you with more Lab space.
